Dr. Victoria Baldwin ND
I work with women who spend much of their lives caring for others: the caregivers, healers, empaths, people pleasers, and high achievers who hold everything together. Until something begins to feel different.
You may be exhausted but unable to sleep. More easily frustrated or overwhelmed. Your energy, mood, weight, digestion, or menstrual cycle may be changing. Or perhaps you simply find yourself thinking, “I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
You may wonder if your hormones are to blame. Hormones may be part of the picture…but they are rarely the whole picture.
My approach is to look at the connections.
I combine naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, modern physiology, and evidence-informed care to explore the patterns behind your symptoms. Together, we may look at hormones, stress physiology, blood sugar regulation, sleep, digestion, nervous system function, nutrition, and the mind-body connection.
Your body is ancient. Your environment is not.
Our physiology was not designed for the pace, stimulation, stress, and demands of modern life. Symptoms can be information. When we begin connecting the dots and understanding what your body has been communicating, new possibilities for health can emerge.
As a naturopathic doctor, I take Doctor as Teacher seriously. I believe understanding why your body may be responding the way it is changes how you participate in your own health.
My role is not simply to give you a treatment plan. It is to help you understand your patterns, recognize what your body is communicating, and identify where meaningful change may be possible.
Treatment is individualized and may incorporate nutrition, lifestyle medicine, nutritional supplementation, botanical medicine, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and strategies supporting nervous system regulation and the mind-body connection.
I am particularly passionate about working with women navigating stress, fatigue, sleep changes, hormone and menstrual concerns, digestive symptoms, nervous system dysregulation, and that difficult-to-describe feeling of simply not being yourself anymore.
I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba and my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2016. I have been in private practice since 2017 and am also a Registered Acupuncturist.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: your symptoms deserve to be understood within the context of the whole person experiencing them.
Sometimes the question isn’t simply,
“What’s wrong with my hormones?”
but rather,
“What has my body been trying to tell me?”
